I’m Older… Will This Cellulite Treatment Work on Me?
Yes, this special Cellulite treatment works on older people. If you are in your 50’s, 60’s and even your 70’s, it works phenomenally. The older you are, the more treatments you will need because you’re combating the number of years you are in age. If you’re in the 70’s… it will still make improvements, but not as well as if you were in you 50’s or 60’s.

How Many Treatments Are Required?
There are many factors that affect how many treatments you will need, such as; age, skin elasticity, skin thickness, diet and lifestyle. Additionally, the higher the Grade of Cellulite; 1, 2 or 3, the more treatments you will need. The good news is; you can see results with only one treatment! Why Are Two Different Machine Used in This Treatment & What Are They?
We use two different machines to maximize the results. Both machines are the very latest technology for combating the ‘holy-grail’ of body issues; Cellulite. Both of these machines will help fight Cellulite on their own, however when used together, we can achieve even better, faster results. The first machine utilizes high-energy acoustic waves targeting the core issue of what cause Cellulite. How Does This Treatment Compare to the Injectable QWO That Fights Cellulite?
QWO is an injectable that requires multiple Spa visits, each with numerous injections involving needles. The process is painful and has a lot of down-time due to inflation, bruising and swelling. It also carries potential risk. It typically requires three separate treatments (spaced 3 weeks (21 days) apart. Worst of all; it takes 3 or 4 months for you to see results! What are Cellfina & Cellulaze Cellulite Treatments?
Cellfina is a fairly invasive procedure to reduce and eliminate the appearance of cellulite. It does so by leveling cellulite’s structure. Under local anesthesia, Cellfina is a subcision method that uses needles to cut the collagen bands (called fibrous septae) underneath the skin that pull the skin down and cause cellulite dimples. Cellfina prices usually range from $3,500 to $6,500 with an average cost of around $4,250 per treatment. Cellulaze is another fairly invasive procedure takes one to two hours. A surgeon makes a small incision to allow a cannula-a thin tube-to be inserted under the skin’s surface. They then insert the Cellulaze laser fiber into the cannula, to reach the areas to be treated. Can Hormones Affect Cellulite?
Yes, hormones play an important role in Cellulite development. Estrogen, insulin, noradrenaline, thyroid hormones and prolactin are part of the Cellulite production process.

One theory is that as estrogen in women decreases in the approach to menopause, blood flow to the connective tissue under the skin also decreases. Lower circulation means less oxygen in the area, resulting in lower collagen production. Fat cells also enlarge as Estrogen levels fall. These factors combine to makes the fat deposits more visible. What is Cellulite & What Causes It?
Cellulite is caused by a buildup of fat underneath the skin. Connective tissue called fibrous bands cause cellulite dimples in the skin. These bands connect your skin to tissue underneath. The fibrous bands can pull some skin in, causing the surrounding fat to bulge. This can create small depressions, or cellulite dimples, throughout the area.

Women are more predisposed to Cellulite than men. The amount of Cellulite you have, and how noticeable it is can be, is based on your genes, body fat percentage, thickness and elasticity of your skin, your age, diet and your lifestyle. Cellulite is also more common with aging when the skin loses elasticity.

Cellulite involves fibrous connective cords that tether the skin to the underlying muscle with the fat lying between. As fat cells accumulate, they push up against the skin, while the fibrous cords pull down. This creates an uneven surface or dimpling – See illustration below:
