I had received CSR treatments elsewhere that were not a pleasant experience and without results. The treatments at TISCI are performed with expertise and in a relaxing and friendly spa environment. I recently completed a Collagen Skin Rejuvenation (CSR) treatment with Christina. As an avid skin care guru, I have to say that Christina delivered one of the best CSR treatments I have yet to receive. And believe me I have had several to speak of in the last two years!! I have severe Hyperpigmentation on my face from years of being in the sun! I have tried everything from PDT (Photodynamic Therapy with the Levulan) to Fraxels. Both procedures are intense, so I opted to try the CSR. The results are amazing and I believe I have found the right person to continue to treat me with my upcoming CSR’s! I also would recommend joining their VIP Club. They are truly the best prices in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and Christina was amazing with the Dermapen. ISCI is a beautiful, small spa and everyone there is so nice. For the treatment, I was put in a room with soft music and a padded table like for facials. Mikki, the aesthetician, took off my makeup and put numbing gel on my face and neck, and used an instrument to prick my skin for the CSR. I mostly didn’t feel anything, but areas that I did feel were a level 3 out of 10 (at most) for pain. I was scared before the treatment, but Mikki totally put me at ease. Afterwards, it looked and felt like a bad sunburn. Today, my skin is still red (but less than yesterday!) and no swelling or bruising!!! I bought the VIP membership and 5 more CSRs at a great rate. I intend to do this more times, and keep up with it, to push out “needing” a facelift for many years, and to also take the best care of my skin as I can. Thanks, ISCI!!

I purchased my first CSR treatment through a Groupon special and wanted to express how professional everyone is at ISCI. My treatment was with Mikki and she thoroughly explained each process along the way. I would also like to express how comfortable and relaxing their facility is.

As for the treatment, it was not painful at all since the numbing cream is applied before the procedure and walked out with minimal redness. The next morning, I woke up with my face red, but it only appeared as if I had a sunburn. Went to work the next day without any problems. On day 2, the redness was gone. Now on day 3 I’m starting to experience some faint peeling, which I’m excited about because then I know that the old skin is sloughing off….lol And with one last note, I have purchase the membership because I will definitely be back for another treatment.

The older building is so misleading-this is a gem! The atmosphere is very calming and the personnel are extremely nice. My Esthetician was especially was attentive to my needs making sure all of my questions were answered and then continued to asked about my comfort levels throughout the skin rejuvenation process. I would recommend The International Skin Care Institute for anyone who is curious about trying Collagen Skin Rejuvenation, but possibly a little fearful (such as myself) or for someone who is already on a regular maintenance program (they seem to have some great VIP programs). It was an extremely positive experience for me.
