Yesterday I had my first visit and received one BioTrim Instant Weight Loss Treatment. Let me just say- This place was simply amazing. Location is great, very nice office and I instantly felt relaxed and comfortable. I am 5’3 and 110 lbs and I work out every day as well as maintaining a low calorie and sugar diet. So I didn’t set my hopes up too high due to the fact that I had little to lose. My target areas for this treatment were my thighs. The treatment itself is quick and easy- calming even! Toward the end of the 30 minutes I felt the “heat sensation” she described but it was definitely not painful. Then I stood on this machine to help with circulation for 10 minutes (again quick and easy.) I was measured before and after and ended up shedding a bit more than a half of an inch on each leg! I was happily surprised!! Who doesn’t want to take a 30 minute rest and lose some body fat?

I also received a facial cleanser and moisturizer. It’s only my second time using them however, my skin feels hydrated and clean like never before. I have sensitive skin and thus far have had zero irritations. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to better themselves. Fantastic results and delightful customer service. 🙂

I found the International Skin Care Institute through Groupon. What a lucky discovery! My two customized facials with Annette showed immediate results. My skin was firmer and more radiant. I was so impressed that I signed up for their VIP program. Yesterday I went one step further and had a RF CSR and Line Defining treatment with Trisha. She is very professional and experienced. She settled my nerves by explaining each step in detail. I feel great today and am looking forward to seeing the final results in a few days.

I have been making some changes regarding my skin care and am open to some education. I took advantage of a terrific Groupon for RF CSR, and am 6 weeks post-procedure. The staff here are all here to pamper you. My esthetician was Christina she explained everything well. I did warn her that I do not have sensitive skin and that I tend NOT to peel after a chemical peel facial. Although she turned the machine “up” – I did not experience any warming or itching of the skin, nor was I pink afterward. After 6 weeks, I don’t really see any difference, – especially regarding wrinkles. They assure me I need a SERIES of the RF CSR treatments -done within a short period of time. I think I would do that, except I was told the results last about a year. For the hours and money spent for several CSR treatments…..I was hoping the results would last longer.

With that said, what I did take advantage of was the VIP membership. Beautify Spa by International Skin Caref really does offer a great package for discounted facials and treatments, but the “menu” is fairly detailed and complicated when they tell you about it. Currently, I am having red LED treatments, and my research really does tell me this is effective and I am letting the staff at ISCI guide me regarding what is best for my skin care. It isn’t always easy in the middle of your work day to take off your makeup and indulge in an hour of sanity, but I think I can get used to it!

On the weekends, I have been going without makeup and notice my tone and color is better. Even my husband looked at me and paused long enough to say “Your skin looks good.”

I bought an Amazon Deal for the RF/CSR; described as “Photoshop for the Face”. I go in cynical, but figured what the heck. Saturday afternoon, I pull up to this white Soviet-style block building in Old Scottsdale and my heart sinks. Ugh. I can already tell what this experience is going to be like. Except I walk thru a set of iron gates and down a short arched hall and find myself whisked far from the gritty urban landscape and into the garden of the Kasbah—a beautiful tiled courtyard with comfy seating and a playful fountains and leafy greenery that trembled in the breeze. Wow—this is cool. My Esthetician got me settled in, told me in detail about the procedure & expected results & then checked to make sure I had no questions. And so we began, I only winced was when she worked on the spot where your cheek curves into your nose. On a scale of 1-10, discomfort was at worst a 3.5, and more like a 2. One of my complaints about my “older” face is the bags under my eyes. I swear, SWA wants to charge me excess baggage fees for those puppies. Folks, I kid you not—I got up Sunday morning, looked in the mirror, and those sad little pillows that resided under my eyes had been reduced about 80%. I am not joking. I almost fell off my chair. Now, that’s the only “turbo” difference I noticed that fast and radically, but over the past 10 days, I have also noticed that my skin grain seems finer. The reduction in the baggy eyes has remained. not for a single moment do I feel like I got lesser service at ISCI because I came in on a coupon. I was there almost 2 hours and felt pampered and valued. Great experience.

But I was more than pleasantly surprised; Mikki did an amazing job and put so much care and attention into her work. I tried ISCI with a wonderful Groupon offer that I thought was too good to be true, but it was exactly what was offered! I love my CSR treatment results and I still have 2 more procedures That came with my Groupon offer! Wow. The peacefulness that I felt while I was getting this process was wonderful, I felt myself cat napping several times during the process. No pain during the process! I just had an RF CSR with Mikki, and my skin looks gorgeous…It is absolutely flawless! It is called “Photoshop for the Face,” and no kidding – it really is. I will be 51 next week, and my skin hasn’t looked this good since I was in my late 20’s or early 30’s. What I also love is that there is literally no downtime. You can wear makeup after 24 hours of having it done, and I had very little redness. It is virtually painless – I knew it was being done, but I didn’t feel anything. If I did feel something while it was done, it was very mild and it didn’t hurt at all. I am hooked on this and I plan to do this forever!!

Mikki is just the best. She does an awesome job, and she’s a really terrific person, too.

If you want to make improvements to your skin quality, tone, etc, get this done. You will be amazed!!!!

I live near Old Town so when I saw t he Groupon I thought I would give it a try. I wasn’t expecting much, but found the staff and the treatment to be one of the best I have had in town. The loction is perfect for parking and is comfortable and relaxed. Joanna did the facial and was friendly but let me relax. Having the LED is nice, any add on that can tighten my skin I will take! The Microdermabrasion was nice, not too strong but comfortable and made my skin very smooth and clean. Yes, they talk to you about the VIP package… but it is a Groupon and you are getting a great deal for what the Groupon cost. They were not pushy. The VIP membership is a great deal for someone like me that likes to get a service once or twice a month.

They sent me 3 appointment reminders in the week before my appointment, and they were very welcoming. The environment created at the ISC’s facility is aesthetic and calming . . . and the staff is quite friendly and accommodating. Two friends & I decided to treat ourselves to a facial that we found through Groupon. We were able to schedule this for Valentine’s Day, a plus! To allow us to all get in at the same time, the spa brought in a 3rd aesthetician early! Very helpful & accommodating. The facial with Microdermabrasion & LED rejuvenation was wonderful. Relaxing and I thought we all looked pretty good after! Mikki was my aesthetician and she had a very gentle touch. The staff was welcoming and friendly. After reading a few reviews I was concerned about a hard sell for future treatments, but this did not happen at all. I realize the purpose of a Groupon is to drive business and sales. I expect to be given an overview of the product line and to be encouraged to visit again. It would be a poor business practice to not do that.

I would recommend this spa to friends & family without hesitation. I would love to return!

I originally came to the International Skin Care Institute with a LivingSocial deal for an hour facial, microderm, and LED treatment. My facial was with Annette and she was great, before the facial started she asked me about my skin care needs and then told me about the steps she was going to take to address my concerns. The facial itself was very relaxing and I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin. I ended up signing up for the VIP membership program which is a fabulous deal, I received bonus LED treatments and a face product and will receive discounted treatments throughout the year, a huge money saver and then were even able to break the fee up into payments to make it easier on my budget. Overall this place offers great treatments for an affordable price.

THIS place is amazing. I have been to a million places and have been getting lasers/facials etc for years now to preserve my aging skin. By far, out of all the places I have been — this surpasses them all. I got a Groupon for a CSR and have had a few in the past. However, this one TOPPED them all by far. The care, concern, the explanations, the education I received were beyond the best. The time they took with me was well over 2 hrs! They really cared and exceeded every expectation. I was so impressed, I became a VIP member that day! They also offer the best deals and make what you want affordable… THE results: stunning! My sister surprised me with a facial from ISCI when I was visiting AZ for Thanksgiving. Mikki was wonderful and very attentative. I am 83 years old and highly recommend ISCI to anyone. I saw results after one Microderm. I also recommend the Foot and Hand treatments for those that cannot use the LED light due to medical conditions. ISCI was just great.

Though not a high maintenance type, I decided to try this spa via a Groupon-type promotion. I probably would not have found it otherwise, as it is tucked away behind Sees Candy on Scottsdale Rd in Old Town Scottsdale. I immediately fell in love with the place! It is comfortable, but not pretentious. The staff is wonderful–both Joanna and Mikki are wonderful aestheticians. I work hard for a living and believe I deserve the once-a-month luxury of a good facial and any other services I want to take advantage of. I love the attentive but not “over the top” staff at ISCI. It is somewhere where I can go to get pampered–just a little–and feel very comfortable. After 3 visits, I decided to purchase an annual membership. I’m worth it! I also love the convenience of being able to schedule and change appointments online.

I was not looking forward to using my Groupon after reading a bad Review… But now I know better and will take all reviews with a grain of salt. Their Old Town Scottsdale location was beautiful, the products were organic and smelled/felt delicious, and it was hands down, by far the best facial I have ever received!!! Bought VIP card with all the perks and already scheduled another visit with my best friend so she can try!!! Scheduling website no bueno, but the experience was wonderful 🙂

Update – 9/20/2012 I purchased a Groupon in 2011 amongst many other facial Groupon’s & loved my facial at ISCI so much that I bought the VIP and have been coming ever since. I LOVE Joanna, she not only gives me a magical facial, but does the best Reiki I have ever had. When my best friend came in town to visit, I purchased a facial for her and she was also in awe of her experience. I think the staff is kind and welcoming; the ambiance is relaxing with tea, snacks, and tons of testers for you to play with their ORGANIC products. They provide free services and quality products for referrals and the price for what you get is well beyond worth it. My skin has improved tremendously- Melasma and dullness were my issues, and I always look forward to my ME time…my relaxing facial with Joanna! 10 out of 10!

Five days ago, I had my first Collagen Skin Rejuvenation (CSR) treatment and I already see a marked difference in the tightening of my skin. The entire staff is accommodating, warm, and very knowledgeable. I was particularly pleased with the way my technician, Annette, listened to “My” concerns and planned accordingly. Found this place through Groupon and although it is in Old Town Scottsdale, it’s off the beaten path so may never have discovered it otherwise. I really didn’t know what to expect, but once inside the doors I found it to be really peaceful and relaxing. The facial rooms are detached from the main building so it’s like going to a private casita for your facial. I had Annette for my aesthetician and found her to be knowledgeable and friendly. You leave with healthy feeling skin and a relaxed psyche. The membership plan makes it affordable so I’m sure I will return whenever I feel like tuning up my skin.

I, too, bought a Groupon facial and as I usually am, was a bit skeptical as to what I was getting myself into. I’ll admit, I was even a bit more skeptical when I saw the exterior of the building …. not exactly sure what I was expecting, but I obviously wasn’t impressed …. AT FIRST! After entering the cool courtyard, I felt transformed to a European villa and after being welcomed by the friendly, professional staff, felt instantly at ease in my surroundings. My esthetician and although my Groupon was for a facial and Microdermabrasion, she recommended against the microderm, suggesting a dermaplane instead and explained why. I felt she truly had my best interest in mind. Her facial was excellent and professional and for the first time ever, I never had a “break out” afterward and my face felt SO soft and clean! I also used a Groupon for my service. Before starting the facial I filled out documents, as you should do before a facial. One of the questions asks what do you like addressed in the facial. All that I mentioned was addressed with honors. I was very pleased. I own a micro dermaplaning machine, but it’s always nicer to have someone else do it for you. Once again, she did a much better job than I could ever do and better than most other places I’ve been. I also had a LED light treatment which the option of addressing up to 3 skin conditions was offered. There’s a beverage counter with snacks to make sure you are hydrated. There are also a few quiet areas that you can sit back and relax by yourself or with a friend.

Everyone was friendly and wanted to make sure I was happy. This is one Groupon purchase that I will make another visit. Very Satisfied

With the Groupon coupon thing it seems as though most places are of the “get ’em in get ’em out” attitude. It was refreshing that the staff of the International Skin Care Institute were personable, informative, knowledgeable and of the mindset to create a spa experience for customer. A tad bit sales driven for my taste, I do want to know the products, but I don’t want to feel pressured into buying them. However, I think my arithmetician was just passionate about helping people get great skin and obviously liked working there. Great facial I would recommend to others. I found ISC through Living Social and received first class service, where many companies that offer deals treat you differently because you are using a “coupon”, this is NOT the case at ISC, they are professional from start to finish!! First it started with a warm & personal greeting from the staff (Ginny & Kelly). Then Joanna Patton promptly greeted me for my 60 min. facial with microderm. Afterwards, she spent time with me explaining the different products she used. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in skin care and the products they use. My skin glowed! I had the Collagen Skin Rejuvenation done yesterday, as I am 49 and have a few wrinkles and sagging on my face, and a lot of that on my neck. ISCI is a beautiful, small spa and everyone there is so nice. For the treatment, I was put in a room with soft music and a padded table like for facials. Mikki, the aesthetician, took off my makeup and put numbing gel on my face and neck, and used an instrument to prick my skin for the CSR. I mostly didn’t feel anything, but areas that I did feel were a level 3 out of 10 (most) for pain. I was scared before the treatment, but Mikki totally put me at ease. Afterwards, it looked and felt like a bad sunburn. Today, my skin is still red (but less than yesterday!) and no swelling or bruising!!! I bought the VIP membership and 5 more CSRs at a great rate. I intend to do this more times, and keep up with it, to push out “needing” a facelift for many years, and to also take the best care of my skin as I can. Thanks, ISCI!!

Everyone has been very friendly, I’ve been pleased with the services, and will be coming back for further treatments to finally give my skin the TLC it deserves. Though I have had some trouble getting in touch with ISCI by phone, don’t let it deter you…I recommend their skin treatments and being able to book appointments online is very convenient!

I recently purchased a Groupon for a facial and Microdermabrasion which I have never had done and thought this was a great way to try it out. I was scheduled with Joanna and she was wonderful as was the service. I absolutely loved the facial and Microdermabrasion. It left my face so soft and I could see the soft lines had dimensioned the very first time. My pores were much smaller and my face felt and looked great.

I then went in for my first LED treatment and I loved that just as much. Today my face is glowing, the skin tone is so even, my pores again look smaller so much that I do not think I will wear any makeup today. While we there we had the chance to meet the owner who was very nice easy to talk to and was very informative.

I have been to other upscale salons and left feeling like a number… very different here, you made to feel like you are their only client. They have very affordable specials and plans which makes it even better. I highly recommend The International Skin Care Institute.

I bought/used a $59 Groupon for my first visit & loved the experience. I’ve done several facials over the years, but the micro-dermabrasion did exactly what I wanted in terms of making my pores smaller. I felt so great afterwards that I signed up for their $79/year special where you get as many facials as you want all year for $59. As far as I’m concerned, this place ranks just as high as the Camelback Inn, where the facials are much more expensive. Small place, great folks & great facials. Go for it!

I bought a Groupon for $59 for a facial and Microdermabrasion for both me and my beaux. I was very pleased. It was well worth $59. The aesthetician, Joann, was fab! I rank it as the best overall facial I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few dozen. They provided many incentives and gifts and their VIP program guarantees as many facials (choose from 10 including Microdermabrasion) as you would like the whole year through for a $179 fee, (but they gave me $100 off on my 1st visit) It’s a steal because they give you a free birthday facial and $100 gift certificate. Unlike Noa U., (who wrote a bad review) I did meet the owner, John. If he uses the products, they’re working! He did look good for 49 years of age.

I like to just relax and not have to make a lot of conversation. I’m not sure about the other Yelp review, but I received a microderm. I am reviewing the facial with Microdermabrasion I purchased off of Groupon for $59. This was the first time I’ve ever received a facial or Microdermabrasion. I have nothing to compare it to, but I believe that what I received was amazing. I’ve bought similar things for girlfriends in the past and the process they explained was identical to what I got here. Therefore, I assume I got the real thing 🙂

I scheduled my appointment with Mikki. She was a very nice lady and made me feel very comfortable. She arrived a few minutes early to drop off some pre-appointment paperwork for me to fill out. She was very friendly and outgoing, making me laugh many times. I was completely happy with the service she provided and would schedule another appointment with her if I have the opportunity to go back.

The interior is very nicely decorated and clean. I did not find the music to be too quiet or too loud. It was just right.

I was not sure what to expect. Being male, this kind of stuff is new to me but it was something I’d been wanting to do for a while. I’m not sure if the other reviewer (Noa U.) went to the same place that I did, but they offered the diamond tip microdermabrasions and that’s what I got. Mikki recommended it to me. I believe I also got the organic one first, but I’m not too sure. I was kind of zoned out as I was very, very relaxed. I think I would have fallen asleep if I was there any longer.

The only downside for me is the distance from my house. This is what kept me from purchasing the VIP package, which is actually very inexpensive and overall a great deal with all of the benefits you gain from it. I do plan on going back sometime in the future when time allows.

My skin felt great afterwards. The staff there is very knowledgeable and able to offer recommendations for various products and techniques to keep your skin looking great. When I said I wasn’t interested in the VIP package they didn’t hound me. The guy at the car wash who tries to replace the non-existent chips in my windshield is 10 times more aggressive of a salesperson than the ones that work here.

Again, I’ve never had a facial or Microdermabrasion before, or any kind of spa treatment stuff at all actually, but I am beyond happy with what I got for the price I paid.

One of the best facials I have ever received. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. I have been getting facials and facial acupuncture for about 10 years, this is one the best ones with the longest lasting results. I love the energized facial and the organic Microdermabrasion. It was not as harsh as some others I have had, with better results. After 3 weeks, my skin is still less oily and tighter. They customize the treatment just for you. I loved it so much I signed up for their VIP plan. I am excited for my next facial and to try the Eye Treatment.

I visited the ISCI today and tried one of the new energized facials that are apparently becoming “all the rave.” After noticing how great my skin looked and felt afterwards, I was convinced that these products fell nothing short of what they promise to deliver! This was the first facial I have ever had where my skin didn’t break out and feel greasy afterwards. Rather, it felt hydrated but yet very taught. This was definitely a refreshing experience that I would consider revisiting again in the future! I would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone wishing to look and feel younger! I received a facial, the other day at ISCI, with the new energized skin care line and was very impressed. I’m always hesitant to try different products because my skin is ultra sensitive and countless products have caused irritations or left it feeling greasy with no positive results. This energized facial was unique, relaxing and it left my skin feeling amazing. The fine lines around my eyes and forehead disappeared and my skin felt tighter and definitely looked more radiant. This skin care line rocks!! I noticed tighter, firmer, lifted skin. I received so many compliments on how my skin was glowing. My girlfriend from Tucson was out in Malibu. She meets this woman who could not stop talking about a line of skin care from Switzerland that was all organic and was applied in a very unique method. She said it was the most amazing experience and it had to with the way it was applied.

I don’t know if it was the amazing skin care line or the really unique way it was done, but I absolutely agree it was amazing. It was like getting a massage at the same time. We felt so relax that we weren’t sure if we would make it to dinner later.

Unfortunately they had to order me what I wanted. I wish I could have taken it with me. That was the only bad thing.

I would still give this 5 stars!! You have to experience this.

Living in Arizona, my skin gets so dry. No matter how much product I slather on it, it never quite seems to be enough. I have tried a number of medium-priced lines and even expensive lines; nothing seems to really make a difference. I was first exposed to this energized skin care line from a facial I purchased. The line is light, and felt nice on my skin and I do like the smell. Very refreshing! After getting the facial, my skin felt so hydrated and dewey. I have to say, I felt younger and even got a few compliments that evening. I have been using the line now for just over a week, and I am really seeing results! It’s supposed to have zero point energy in it, whatever it has in it, works, and I am very happy!

I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their energized facial. I thought it might be more skin care hoopla, but I was intrigued enough to try it. I am a believer now!

Whatever this energy is, is really marvelous! My skin has not looked this good in a long time!
